Mission Statement
The mission of the Healing Arts Center is to help people feel well and be well, providing a place where they can feel free to tell their story and I can take time to listen. We use acupuncture, herbs, NeuroModulation Technique and other modalities to promote healing on many levels. Additionally, in teaching the Gokhale Method I give people the tools to empower them to change their posture and improve their quality of life for years to come.

History Of Practice
I attended the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine in Racine WI and received national and state acupuncture certifications in 1996. In addition, I've been using NeuroModulation Technique since 2002 and keep current with its refinements. After practicing on Winnebago Street for 23 years, we moved the office in June 2019 to International Lane. More recently, I became very interested in the Gokhale Method® of posture education and took the teacher training. Since the summer of 2016, I've been a qualified Gokhale Method teacher and am really enjoying this new part-time endeavor. The Gokhale Method is based on observations of people in traditional cultures who stay active and pain-free as they age. We teach this "primal posture" in the 6-lesson Foundations Course, helping people eliminate pain, avoid injury, and generally feel better. I offer free one-hour workshops periodically to introduce people to the work.

Personal Statement
I am a member of the Threshold Singers of Madison. We sing in small groups for people who are seriously ill, dying, or grieving.
