Mission Statement
To lift up, enhance, and unleash the health and wellbeing housed within every person and community by working collaboratively and collectively with communities to identify needs, align resources, and implement innovative strategies of care to meet those needs and exceed health expectations.

History Of Practice
I began my journey towards supporting the health and wellbeing of others as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor. I then gained experience working in a more "traditional" healthcare settings as an emergency medical technician and cardiac rehab intern. However, I ended up finding the greatest sense of fulfillment from my working on various community outreach, education, and engagement projects aimed at promoting health and wellbeing for all people through multi-level service delivery, program development, and policy, system, and environmental change. I gained skills and experiences in these areas while working for healthTIDE, AmeriCorps Farm to School, and many other community organizations to develop and deliver community health education and empowerment opportunities. Through this work and while earning my Masters degree in Public Health I learned and gained experience applying this work through a more effective lens - centered around health equity.

Personal Statement
I bring a calm, empathetic, and non-judgmental presence to my work that seeks to bridge understanding with compassion. As trust and relationships grow, I feed contagious amounts of positivity, enthusiasm, and motivation that help fuel action and empowerment, leading to sustainable improvements for all.

Upcoming Projects
Serving as a member of the MAWC Temporary Leadership Team - working to ensure and build a bright future for this organization, its members, and the individuals and communities it serves through strategic development and planning support. Additionally, I am interested in developing innovative health care and community-based partnerships and service delivery models that more effectively support the health and wellbeing of everyone through preventative, proactive, and strength approaches. For my capstone project, I assessed perceived barriers and opportunities of fitness goal achievement outside the clinic, among patients and caregivers at a pediatric fitness clinic.
