Mission Statement
American Physical Therapy Association Vision Statement: "Transforming society by optimizing movement to improve the human experience.”

History Of Practice
PRACTICE STATEMENT: I consider myself a musculoskeletal physical therapist with a wide array of tools in my tool box from manual therapy and exercise/movement skills to health promotion and wellness skills. EDUCATION: BS-PT University of WI-Madison (1984), MS-Kinesiology University of MI-Ann Arbor (1992) and DSc PT Andrews University (2011) CERTIFICATIONS: Orthopaedic Certified Specialist (OCS), Certified Manual Physical Therapist (CMPT), Certified Exercise Expert for Aging Adult (CEEAA), Certified Tai Chi Fundamentals Instructor (CTI)

Personal Statement
I love any outdoor activity (walking/hiking, biking, birding, boating, etc.). I like to explore strategies that bring the miracle of mindfulness into daily life (Tai chi, yoga, reading and discussing books on spirituality and cooking with friends). While I am a self-confessed sports fan (my black lab is named Packer), I relish the arts, music and theater and am grateful for Madison's many gifts.

Upcoming Projects
Tai chi for Fall Prevention, Tai chi for Pain Management and Tai chi for Personal Health and Wellness
