Occupational Therapist and Yoga Instructor

Megan Bjella

History Of Practice
I work as an occupational therapist in the speciality of hand and upper extremity rehabilitation at UW Health. I completed my masters in occupational therapy in December of 2016 at UW-Madison. I've also taught yoga as an avocation since 2009, and I incorporate much of what I've learned in my study of yoga, human anatomy, and the nervous system into my occupational therapy practice. Currently, I'm excited to be helping out with Ballroom Basics for Balance with Susan Frikken and others and assisting in the 2017 Alignment Yoga Teacher Training with Andrea Russell. In the past, I have facilitated an Argentine Tango class for individuals with Parkinson's Disease and taught yoga to veterans and incarcerated women.
