Mission Statement
Creating a more compassionate and resilient world by helping individuals and organizations gain insight and take conscious action.

History Of Practice
I am passionate about working with individuals and organizations who are deeply committed to making positive change and creating impact in their world.   For over 20 years, that passion translated into leading and coaching organizations, teams and coalitions in state and local government, non-profit, corporate, and higher education arenas focused on advancing environmental, social, and educational causes. Since 2006 I have cultivated a mindfulness practice and have delivered trainings on techniques designed to strengthen attention, compassion, and self-awareness. In 2016, I formed TLJ Coaching and Consulting, LLC to holistically provide leadership and life coaching, facilitation, and training services to individuals and organizations dedicated to transformational growth.

Personal Statement
Sometimes we need support in illuminating, understanding, and becoming present with our truths. As your coach, I partner with you to connect with your strengths, values, and possibility - challenging old ways of thinking and inspiring new awareness and action. Coaching is an evidence-based, individualized process that helps you get from where you are to where you want to go. It is distinct from therapy, mentoring, consulting, and training and holds you as the expert. Coaching maintains that you have the wisdom for change right within you and/or your organization. Your wisdom. Your journey.

Upcoming Projects
I am dedicated to supporting leaders - of self and of others. In addition to individual and group coaching I offer workshops, trainings, and presentations on the topic of leadership and presence. I am also committed to making the coach approach and mindfulness techniques more accessible to communities and populations that may not be connected with these practices. To learn more visit
