This 10-week series offer a powerful, fun, and effective combination of research-based tools and techniques designed to help participants navigate life stress. Each 90 minute class includes meditation, a didactic talk on each topic, technique practice time, and optional sharing.

The small group setting offers a safe and supportive environment in which to explore a variety of mind-body approaches. Listening to other’s experiences with the practices, and having the option of sharing one’s own, can broaden awareness of our responses to stressors and how we process through them. The class model encourages a deeper level of awareness in everyday experiences, and aims to improve participant’s resilience in navigating emotional, physical, and psychological challenges. Cost: $300/ten weeks Feb 20 - April 24, 2019

The series is led by Rebecca Anderson, MS. Rebecca has completed the Center for Mind-Body Medicine’s Professional Training Program, and has led small group classes for more than 15 years. She is in private practice as a massage therapist, integrative health coach, and meditation teacher. Rebecca taught meditation and mind-body skills classes for the UW Integrative Medicine program, and has her MS in Mind-Body Medicine from Saybrook University in San Francisco, CA.
